How Do They Work?
When a automatic dish is triggered to find the correct satellite it will begin to search the sky for a signal.
Each satellite gives out a unique identifier which lets the dish know if it is the correct one or not.
The automatic dish stores in memory each satellite location in the sky.
Once it finds one or two satellites the dish will know the location of the correct satellite such as DIRECTV or Dish Network and lock in.
